This is a "life-size" version of the wee raygun that came with Lego space kits. The gun is 3D printed (and required a LOT of hand finishing). The removable neon translucent tip was cast in translucent resin to perfectly match its wee counterpart. By my math, it's a 16:1 replica of the original. Building this really made me appreciate the designers of the tiny original. It's a really elegant design. And it packs a wallop.
