This is a replica of the Klingon Disruptor used in the Original Series of Star Trek. It's another great example of crazy 60s sci-fi design. I began by finding photo of the screen used prop that was sold at auction. I pulled measurements and built the entire thing in a 3D program called Fusion 360. I printed out all the individual pieces for the build on my Prusa. The entire thing was reassembled followed by a ton of sanding and priming. The final paint captures the milled aluminum details and two-tone paint scheme of the original.
