I was commissioned to build an accurate replica of the utility belt Batman wears in the popular video game Batman: Arkham Knight. This game was not released yet so research was challenging to find decent screen shots of this belt.

The belt was scratch built from styrene and Sintra. From there, molds were made and resin parts were assembled. The belt in the game is beautifully weathered, so I created a paint finish with several spray paints and a rub-on metallic wax finish called Rub N' Buff.
