To be honest, I've never watched this movie. I was hired to create this shield that Alice uses in the film to fight a dragon. And that's enough for me. The shield has a lovely hand-made, imperfect look. I captured that by sculpting the shield first out of clay. Then, a rubber mold was poured over it. Finally the shield itself was cast in a durable resin. The metallic look was created with an application of Silver Rub N Buff.
